hay guys i got xp home 512 ram but i was wondering if it whould be good idea to look at upgrading to vista?

thats a good question for mkhcb ;-) i think it will be fine but talk to mk cuz he upgraded at one point on 512

Yes you can install vista on 512 mb ram. I updated my pc to Vista Ultimate and i run without lag. Just be sure that if you use aero u diable the blur effect Cool.

You can, but it will use up every bit of it, and may lag sometimes. It will work, but I recomment at least 1GB for max performance.

Um yeah it will eat at ur recorses and it may just be better to stick with XP for the time being especaly if you are a gamer
